You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

Black March - Thursday March 1st 2012 to Saturday March 31st 2012 With the continuing campaigns for internet-censoring litigation such as SOPA and PIPA, and the closure of sites like Megaupload under allegations of 'piracy' and 'conspiracy' the time has come to take a stand against music, film, and media companies' lobbyists. The only way is to hit them where it hurts. Their profit margins. March 2012 is the end of the First Quarter in economic reports world wide. Do not buy a single record. Do not download a single song, legally or illegally. Do not go to see a single film in cinemas, or download a copy. Do not buy a DVD in the stores. Do not buy a videogame. Do not buy a single book or magazine. Wait the four weeks to buy them in April: see a film later, etc... Holding out for just four weeks, maximum, will leave a gaping hole in media companies profits for the first quarter, an economic hit which will in turn be observed by governments world wide as stocks and shares will blip from a large enough loss of incomes. This action will give a statement of intent: "We will not tolerate the Media Industries' lobbying for legislation that will censor the internet."

Edited to add my own thoughts (not part of the original reddit call for action) And if you do not feel like taking a total break and perhaps want just a trial separation or couple's counseling, then perhaps consider Black March Lite 2.0 = spend, but spend money on those content creators and independent retailers who came out against SOPA/PIPA.  And tell them why you're buying their products in March.  There are many of them.

And for those who favor the more targeted boycott, you can find info  here.  But no matter which,  you can participate and you can tailor your level of participation.  We have the tools, the will and the strength to take a stand.

This is a conversation I had with my best friend:

Dark Archive: Twin, I have a conundrum. I turned in a math assignment online a week ago. My teacher send the assignment feedback as this: =)=)

That's right. A smily face... a fraking smiley face. What does that even mean?!? Some people in my group were given something like "Great job on numbers 1,5,7,8." All I was given was: =)=)

Is that a "good job but okay answers"? Or "only full credit, nothing worth commenting on"? Or "I'm too tired to read your B.S. so it's just enough that you did it"?

Or am I just overthinking this whole thing?

Viitro: ....D. All of the above.

What you should be concerned about if a frowny face.

And that's why she is awesome.

This little girl is my hero!!!! I've been wanting to do this exact thing for years. Too bad I'm too old to join The Jedi Academy at Disneyland :-(

And bravo for the Disney cast member with the quick thinking.

I am turning 21 next friday and there is only one thing I'm really looking forward to. No, it's not being able to (legally) drink alcohol or having a big party (I don't do birthday parties; I'd stress out over every detail) but eating really delicious tasting birthday cake XD

...only thing is I have no idea what to get -_-'....

I've done every kind of cake I'd like to eat. Ice cream cake, giant Mrs. Fields cookie cake, red velvet cake, german chocolate cake, cheesecake, tres leche cake, chocolate mousse cake, oreo cookies and cream cake,  marble cake, strawberry cake... great now I just made myself hungry.

Anyhoo, here's my rant of the week.

Bring on the floaties and the flippy floppies because I'm headed for the river Styx!!!

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Fifth Level of Hell!
Fifth Level of Hell
The river Styx runs through this level of Hell, and in it are punished the wrathful and the gloomy. The former are forever lashing out at each other in anger, furious and naked, tearing each other piecemeal with their teeth. The latter are gurgling in the black mud, slothful and sullen, withdrawn from the world. Their lamentations bubble to the surface as they try to repeat a doleful hymn, though with unbroken words they cannot say it. Because you lived a cruel, vindictive and hateful life, you meet your fate in the Styx.

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)Very Low
Level 2 (Lustful)Very High
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Very High
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Moderate
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Very High
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very High
Level 7 (Violent)Moderate
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Very High
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Moderate

Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

The fifth level of Hell doesn't seem to bad a place to spend in eternal damnation ^_^

GREEN LANTERN!!! Hands down I would choose GL's power ring in a humming bird's heartbeat. Sure Spidey has wall-crawling, spider-sense and webshooting but Green Lantern has a ring that forms whatever you think of. I like to think of myself as a pretty creative person so I figure I'd come up with some really strange green constructs.

My older brother aka the Biggest Green Lantern Fan in the World, made me memorize the oath word for word by the time I was six, so doing that oath to power up the ring would be no problem for me.

And the number one reason why I would choose Green Lantern's power over Spiderman is.... Green Lantern can fly! Can Spiderman fly? No he cannot. The most he could do is freefall and swing around on his webs. Every member of the Lantern Corps can fly around in space covered in an awesome emerald green glow.

In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall excape my sight.
Let those who worship evil's might
Beware my power, Green Lantern's Light!

Comment and I'll give you a colour you remind me of, then you tell me ten things you like that are that colour.

[livejournal.com profile] semebay gave me the color dark red, so here it goes:

1. Red bean mochi
2. Remy LeBeau's eyes
3. My car, Gambit
4. One half of my school colors
5. Red pens
6. My iPod, Ciel
7. Roses
8. Nail polish
9. Apples
10. Dante from Devil May Cry

I always found red a sexy, vibrant color and dark red is slowly becoming one of my favorite colors (I change favorite colors every few months). Now that I look as this list, most of my favorite things just so happen to be dark red ^_^

I had talked to my good friend Martha about what kind of reception she wanted and we both decided it would be a disco/funky affair. Martha and her two maids of honor (one of them being yours truly ^.^) would dance on a light up disco floor underneth a giant spining disco ball.

Song 1: "Funkytown" by Lipps Inc.
To start with Martha, myself and Martha's co-maid of honor would dance to this anthem of funky.

Song 2: "Get Into the Groove" by Madonna
Martha already has a dance choreographed to this song. I have yet to see it but she assures me it is "awesome."

Song 3: "Night Fever" by Bee Gees
Martha and her future husband are supossed to dance to this song while the rest of her bridal party are backup dancers.

Song 4: "Apache" by Sugarhill Gang
I have a really good memory of dancing to this song at Martha's Sweet Sixteen. Martha and her brother taught everyone how to really dance to this song; it wouldn't be her wedding without it.

Song 5: "Gett Off" by Prince and The New Power Generation
And last but not least this lovely song by Prince. I wanted to find something with dirty, inuendo filled lyrics that would make Martha giggle and her husband blush. The lyrics to this song fit the bill perfectly.

And that would be the songs at Martha's wedding reception :-)

Wow! I can't believe I've written six of these so far. That's quite an accomplishment for a non-writer such as myself. I might go celebrate by eating a chocolate covered disco ball while singing Chocolate Disco by Perfume (Chokoreito disuko, chokoreito disuko!). Well, this Number Six (not to be confused with the cylon Number Six from Battlestar Galactica) is brought to you by my inconsiderate neighbors. Enjoy my rant.

My ultimate comfort food, which I use when ever I'm feeling sad or nervous or anxious or when I have to present an assignment in front of my class, is... Gummi Bear Covered Pepperoni Pizza!

Gummi Bears  +   =
Don't look at me like that! I know it's a strange combination but there's just something about putting gummi bears on top of pepperoni pizza that makes it delicious to me. A lot of my friends think this is digusting (my mom is included in that disgust) but it's something that makes me feel better. I don't eat it too often but when I do it seems like a special treat to myself ♥
